This movie was an inspiring mix of the modern world and film noir wrapped up in a Twilight Zone story. The beauty of this film, as said in the article, is the simplicity. You take two solid actors and give them an interesting plot and you get movie magic.
The combination of old-fashioned and modern cinematography is a treat as well. It's pleasantly nostalgic to see those shots in front of the green screen. In the same way that old clothing styles are recycled to be reminiscent, old film techniques can be used as another factor in setting the mood.
My only regret with this film is that the director didn't get all of his wishes. I would love to see a black/white director's cut.
I recommend this movie to those who wish the era of film noir never ended, or just to those who want to see a good movie.

Thank you for sharing this article. I bet the screening was a huge success. I read the comments on the screening and they all seemed rather positive.
