You tell me...he's the spittin' image! Apparantly during production of 61*, Mickey's relatives were there and couldn't BELIEVE the resemblence. Check out the movie if you haven't yet. It's a classic.

Thomas Jane as Mickey Mantle was the spitting image, but I'm pretty sure the producers just cloned Roger Maris, called him "Barry Pepper" and had him do a couple movies with Tom Hanks first just to keep the science a secret. Although it is pretty indisputable the movie's one of the best baseball movies ever made with a cast which would be rock-solid even if they looked nothing like their counterparts.
