Congratulations Andi Ewington (aka Butwin) for winning our contest to create RawStudios' brand spanking new LOGO!
we are over the moon with Andi's design. honestly, with so many great designers handing in so much cool stuff, it was hard to choose the winner. But end of the day, Andi's iconic, simple yet striking logo blew us away. we can't wait to throw this baby on new RAW CRAP! err, stuff. Things!
check the store soon. meanwhile, we're gonna throw up, er, PUT up some of the other leading contenders right here, so you can be amazed. Super talented cats competed their ass off in an 8 day DEATHMATCH, and we think you'll be just as blown away as we were. who knows? maybe you'll see some of their bad-assery on Raw Crap, er stuff - soon!
meanwhile: all hail ANDI EWINGTON!

well. we're still standing folks. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE MAYANS WERE WRONG. it just means we're not as good with numbers as they were. plus, we can't read too good. we like to listen carefully to what you say, and then make up a bunch of stuff and say you said it. that's what we're really good at. the Maya never said, "End o' the World! HaHa!!' -- we said that. the MAYA said, sagely - "it's the end of one age and the beginning of another." at least, that's what I say they said.
so, while new age fish fryers struggle to find a new date for the end of everything, we at RawStudios say F it! live for today! it's the end of that old thing and NOW is the beginning of this here! GET WITH IT, man. don't just do something, STAND THERE! best acting advice i ever got. works for life, too. while you're standing there, have a poke around at our new digs. dig it? let us know on ye old boards. not diggin it? go bugger yourself! oh, alright, let us know that too. what works? what doesn't? wtf?
AND CHECK OUT THAT NEW STORE! we teamed up a while back with Mr. David Padula, secret Jedi, and schemed up this new fangled online store thing. it's like shopping, but without the traffic! we decided, after much careful deliberation, to launch the new store at presicely (sic) this time - for very good reason. it's just in time for Xmas, the busiest shopping season of the year. AND it's too late to order anything for Xmas. see? huh? Genius is so simple, and yet, so rare. there are forces at work here that even we barely understand. but dude it's cool. this is a CONSUMER SOCIETY. You are a DRONE. you've been conditioned to want things you haven't even thought of yet. WE do the thinking. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. this is fun! we want to hear what you have to say about that, too - but not here. there are other boards for that. HERE, we let go of our FEARS and we BUY GOOD THINGS to make HAPPY THOUGHTS for MANY. welcome to the Enlightened Age. See?

here she is, our new PUNISHER of the MONTH! Just a few days early - (or a few weeks late, depending on how you look at it!) - all the way from the dark recesses of the Urban Internet Jungle - RawStudios presents :: Miss December!
Will the Lucky Lady please come forward and identify herself? That's right, just like Cinderella lost her shoe, we've lost Punisher Girl''s email! But we won't let that stop her from taking her place at the top of the pile this month -------- it's a special place because THIS MONTH may be the last month of recorded human history! That's right, this unidentified sexy Punisher girl may be the last PotM ever - that is, IF the world as we know it ends on or near Dec 21st. Lots of regular ol' folks have been waiting YEARS for this most momentous moment! We hope our Punisher Girl has been stock piling weapons and ammo, dry goods and gold pieces for the coming APOCALYPSE. We feel good knowing that women like this will be out there wandering the Wasteland. It's gonna take more than just a pretty face to survive, but we at RawStudios think Punisher Girl has what it takes. So pile your coins behind these loins, and meet me in the bunker! SEE YA next month - or ???

Tim Bradstreet here, making this month's Punisher Of The Month entry. We got a real nice one for you this go-round, all the way from Ireland. SIMON TOAL takes the prize this month with this awesome shot that seems to me a nice homage to The Punisher Max. Even looks a bit like me 'ol model, Tom O'Brien himself! This would have made good grist for an old Max cover methinks. What do you think?
Congratulations, Simon, and very well done! See you all in October when we add another round into the chamber of Punisher Of The Month!

Thomas Jane checks in with badass new concept on an old favorite -
The Six Million Dollar Man has always been my favorite 'super hero.' A little while ago I cooked up what I feel is the perfect story to bring the Bionic Man into the 21st Century... To bring life to the story, I combed through over 30 films, music videos and commercials to construct what is known in the biz as a "Rip-o-Matic." Special thanks to uber editors Byron Levy and Marc D'Mour! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together. Here she is, the SIX BILLION DOLLAR MAN - TJ
Let us know what you think by commenting here or check out the Six Billion Dollar Man thread on the RAW Forums.

YES - This is a call to arms! We're 18 days away from the deadline and we're only 3% funded for the Bad Planet Video Game project at Kickstarter. The time to act is now. Funding this may look bleak but 'quitting' is not in our vocabulary. We need the RAW nation to get behind us to pull this off. Certainly we need your hard earned dollars to fund the project, but almost more importantly we need our friends and fans to help spread the word! Tweet about it, share our posts on Facebook to your friends, make your own posts, ask your friends to retweet! We have a little over two weeks to make our ask and meet our milestone, and there is absolutely no way for us to do it without you.
This is the direct link to our Bad Planet Kickstarter page home
And here's the link for our latest update with in-depth video describing the gameplay of our third-person adventure
We also just landed some huge talent in Creature Designer Carlos Huante (Prometheus). When Carlos found out about what we were doing he DEMANDED to be a part of it. Wow! Here's a small sample of Carlos' work -
Please keep up to date with us on this because after the weekend we'll be making a major announcement/update that could be a game-changer. It has to do with talent but we'll say no more to tease you. Next week we've also got more ace cards to play so stick with us!
Who's to say we couldn't pull off the impossible, buck the expectations and actually pull this off.
Stranger things have happened, but we can't do it without each and every one of you!
This is a call to arms. Our sincere thanks to the RAW Nation!
Talk about this project on the RAW FORUMS. We'll do our best to answer any questions.

IF YOU were at SanDiego Comicon this year, stumbling around Hall C in a fanboy daze, you may have been handed a small, folded card with a partially obscured certain Skull on one side. Inside, the card read, “SURPRISE UNVEILING: New PUNISHER SKULL designed by TIM BRADSTREET” and “DO NOT MISS.”
Well, we unveiled it alright. For those fortunate enough to have been handed a card, and clever enough to guess that something might be up in room 26B that night, they got a hell of an unveiling. But what about the poor slobs who weren’t in San Diego?
Or maybe you WERE there, but YOU decided to go to the Costume Ball and oogle that Little Red Riding Hood that night? Or maybe you WERE there, were handed a card by a hot booth babe, and THREW IT ON THE FLOOR while standing in line at the GAME OF THRONES booth where Peter Dinklage sits on your lap for a picture. WHAT ABOUT YOU? Fear not, Fanboy. We’ve got your brand new Punisher Skull right here.
Feel free to grab this Skull and wallpaper your homescreen as you stand in line for TDN and tell everyone that YEAH, YOU WERE THERE. And HERE’S THE SKULL TO PROVE IT.
As you show off your shiny new Skull, remember to point out to your new friends that the eye sockets are knife blades. Guaranteed to elicit ooh’s and aah’s, and possible feinting. And when Little Red Riding Hood asks you how you figured that out, tell ‘em Tim and Tom told you in San Diego at the EW party. Personally.

Hey Raw fans:
Check out this letter below from our friend Dr. Steven Greer and please help spread the word! Visit http://www.sirius.neverendinglight.com/ if you'd like more info or want to donate to help fund the film!
Dear Friends of Disclosure,
The Disclosure Project and CSETI has teamed up with Emmy award winning filmmaker Amardeep Kaleka to make an historic new documentary on Disclosure, Contact and the suppression of New Energy.
The combination of the extensive top-secret witness testimony and evidence collected by The Disclosure Project will be combined with the highly accomplished filmmaking talent of Mr. Kaleka and his group to make a film that will change the course of history.
No major studio or media group will touch this story : It is simply too explosive and world- changing for large corporate interests to embrace.
For this reason This will be funded, produced and distributed through the support of people like you.
You can make a contribution at: www.sirius.neverendinglight.com. Each contribution comes with great incentives ranging from a free Director's cut of the film to attendance at the Red Carpet Premiere, to a week long Contact Expedition with me and the CSETI Contact team.
Please let all of your friends and contacts know about this major new Disclosure initiative by providing links to us on your Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.
It is time for the next big step in Disclosure. Since 2001, dozens of governments have opened up their UFO files- and more is coming. Now the entire world must know that we are not alone, and that the secrecy has been driven by greed and corruption- to hide from humanity the earth-saving technologies behind UFO energy and propulsion systems.
The proceeds from this film will go to fund the research and development of New Energy sources. If you can help us make this film a success, we the people will do what neither the government nor big corporations dare do: End the era of oil and coal and usher in a new, abundant and sustainable civilization on earth- capable and worthy of traveling amongst the stars.
Please help us in any way you can- if all of us pull together the result with be a Global Spring and the renewal of human civilization!
Thank you for your help and support!
Sincerely,
Steven M. Greer MD

I MELT WITH YOU received a glowing call out on LIVING IN CINEMA'S Top Ten 2011 List, written by Jackson Truax. Jackson predicts the film is "destined to become a cult classic" and we couldn't agree more. Check out the list here as well a number of other movies to catch on demand or a trip to the cinema. And as always... please share your thoughts! Which of these movies have you seen -- and what others would you add to the list?

Join Thomas Jane (Hung, The Punisher, RawStudios.com) in person with industry stars Tim Bradstreet (The Punisher, RawStudios.com), Jimmy Palmiotti (Jonah Hex, Painkiller Jane), David Uslan (Graphicly.com, Branded Entertainment), and Pepe Moreno (Batman Digital Justice, Rebel, Amusedom.com) to discuss the rapidly emerging digital distribution platform of comics!! We’ll provide an in-depth look at the creative and business aspects of the digital medium, aiming to demystify the taboos associated with digital comics and demonstrate how they can be more accessible for consumers and profitable for artists. You will learn how it all works together; from social media marketing to world-wide simultaneous distribution on multiple devices. With a moderator like Geoff Boucher (LA Times, Hero Complex), this will be a panel you won't want to miss! Room 8

Check out what Tom got the cast and crew as a wrap gift for the latest season of Hung. We think it's pretty funny :) What do you think? This is the VIP one-"Very Important Penis" that is. A lovely woman in Texas hand-knitted them herself!

We're big fans of Men's Fitness over at Raw. So when Matt Tuthill from MF requested an interview at Icon, we couldn't have been more pleased. We just saw Matt's article today and it's a great one! Check it out yourself here and tell us what YOU think. And here's Tom's cover from last year just for old time's sake ;)

We have to admit, this is pretty freakin' cool. One the two remaining stunt cars from THE PUNISHER is up for auction--the gorgeous and infamous 1969 Pontiac GTO.
We haven't seen this baby in years--take a peek at the listing if you're curious. They had me at bulletproof shielding. Pretty sick!
